Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver-guide, who will assist you with your luggage before transferring you to your hotel in Entebbe. After check in at your hotel, you will head out for a city tour in Kampala city. You’ll visit Kabaka’s palace, where your guide will take you through the history of the Buganda kingdom, learn about their traditional way of life, and their cultural practices. You will visit Kasubi tombs which is also one of Buganda's highlight historical sites. The guide at Kasubi tombs takes you through the history of leadership in the Buganda Kingdom and you will see where some of the previous kings were buried.
From here, you will head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Watch/participate in any cultural demonstrations scheduled in the morning, After you will drive to Jinja for your adventure to the Source of the Nile. Arriving in Jinja, you will begin your exploration of this iconic location, the source of the world’s longest river.

Enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on a memorable boat ride along the Nile, where you'll be surrounded by local fishermen working on the river. The boat ride lasts about two hours, providing stunning views of the river and the surrounding landscape, offering a peaceful yet awe-inspiring experience.

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic hike to explore the stunning Sipi Falls, a series of three waterfalls located at varying altitudes of 100 meters, 85 meters, and 75 meters. The trail takes you through a network of paths, some of which include ladders soaked with water, making the hike both exhilarating and challenging.

As you ascend, enjoy breathtaking views from the top of the falls, where you'll be able to see panoramic vistas of Mount Elgon, the surrounding park, and nearby communities.

After the hike, return to the lodge for refreshments and a well-deserved late lunch. Murchison Falls National Park prides in its blend of a variety of wildlife and amazing landscape, which you are going to explore this day. Start with a game drive which will give you a chance to see hippos as they retire after a busy night of feeding, large herds of buffalo, Jackson’s hartebeests, elephants, and giraffes. Hunters, including lions and leopards can be spotted on a good day, just before they return to their hideouts as the scorching sun gets hotter. From here, you will return to your lodge, have lunch and thereafter drive to the jetty for the afternoon boat cruise. The launch trip to the bottom of the falls is an exciting experience that offers more sightings of animals, a variety of bird species and then the breathtaking views of the Murchison Falls as the waters flow down after penetrating through the 7m gorge.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Today, you will head to Kibale Forest National Park after breakfast. Drive south via Hoima and enjoy the scenic features of the tea plantations in Fort Portal. You will have a stopover in Fort Portal for lunch. After lunch, you have another hour of driving until you reach the lodge. On arrival you will check in and go for a Bigodi Swamp Walk where you may see a variety of bird species and other smaller mammals. The walk takes 2 to 3 hours.
