Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, our team member will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or from the airport at 7:00 a.m. and drive you to the Masai Mara. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the escarpment viewpoint for photos before continuing to Narok Town for lunch. After lunch, proceed to the Masai Mara and enjoy your first game drive from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Explore the reserve in search of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, and the famous Big Five. Your experienced guide will help you spot and learn more about the incredible wildlife along the way. After the game drive, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and your first night in the heart of the Masai Mara.

Full Day Exploring Masai Mara National Reserve

Rise early for a thrilling game drive across the expansive plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. With its high density of wildlife, this park offers one of the best chances to spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. Depending on the time of year, you may also witness the awe-inspiring Great Wildebeest Migration. Enjoy a packed bush lunch near the Mara River or under a shaded acacia tree. After a midday break at the lodge, head out again for a golden-hour evening game drive. Return to your camp in time for a warm dinner and storytelling by the fire.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and journey toward Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying scenic views of Kenya’s countryside along the way. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short rest before heading out for an evening game drive. Explore Lake Nakuru’s diverse landscapes, from open grasslands to acacia woodlands, in search of white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, and other wildlife. Depending on the season and water levels, you may also encounter flamingos along the shores of the lake.

Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you leave Lake Nakuru and head towards Lake Naivasha. Take a relaxing boat ride on the lake, followed by a walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can get close to giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. After lunch, continue your drive to Nairobi for drop-off at your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your memorable safari.
