Mikumi National Park, in southern Tanzania, is famous for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras. It features the scenic Mkata Floodplain, ideal for viewing animals. Game drive in Mikumi National Park

Program of the day: After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your camp for a full-day game drive in Mikumi. You'll explore the park’s wildlife and landscapes, with a picnic lunch in the park. You'll continue your adventure through the afternoon, spotting more animals. In the evening, you'll return to Camp Bastian for a relaxing overnight stay and dinner. You will enjoy a day full of wildlife encounters and comfort!

Mikumi National Park is also notable for its role in the greater Selous ecosystem, vibrant flora like miombo woodlands, and cultural experiences with local communities. It’s engaged in key conservation efforts to protect wildlife and habitats, adding to its importance beyond just its wildlife and landscapes.

Game drive and fly to Zanzibar

Program of the day: After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your camp and start your journey back to Mikumi National Park for a morning game drive and later you will be dropped off to Mikumi Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. This will conclude your memorable tour with Kisangara Tours. Our driver will pick you again from Zanzibar Airport and take you to your hotel again in Zanzibar.
