Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Planet Lodge in Arusha. After check-in, you will have time to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short rest or explore the lodge surroundings. Arusha to Ndutu – Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and drive towards the Ndutu area, located within the southern Serengeti ecosystem. The journey takes you through beautiful landscapes as you approach one of Tanzania's most important areas during the calving season.
Upon arrival in Ndutu, you will begin your first full-day game drive, exploring the plains in search of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other wildlife. During the calving season, the Ndutu plains become a spectacular nursery, with thousands of wildebeest giving birth and predators gathering around the herds.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing your wildlife exploration until late afternoon. In the evening, you will return to Safari Heaven for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu – Calving Season Experience

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Ndutu area. After breakfast, you will head out with your experienced safari guide for a full-day game drive across the seasonal plains.
This is one of the highlights of the safari, as the calving season offers exceptional opportunities to witness newborn wildebeest, mothers protecting their young and dramatic predator-prey interactions. Your guide will carefully follow the wildlife activity and select the best areas for game viewing.
You will have a picnic lunch in the wilderness and continue exploring the Ndutu plains throughout the afternoon before returning to Safari Heaven for dinner and overnight.

Another Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu

After breakfast, you will once again set out for a full-day game drive in Ndutu. Having several days in the area allows you to explore different sections of the ecosystem and increases your chances of experiencing the migration and calving activity at its best.
The day will focus on wildlife viewing, photography and enjoying the spectacular scenery of the southern Serengeti. Depending on the wildlife movements, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and other predators.
After a picnic lunch, you will continue the game drive until later in the afternoon before returning to your accommodation in the Ndutu area for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater – Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you will leave Ndutu and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
The crater is one of the world's most remarkable wildlife destinations, offering excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and many other species. The crater's enclosed environment provides an exceptional concentration of wildlife, making it ideal for game viewing and photography.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated location inside the crater before continuing your exploration. Later in the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

Tarangire National Park – Full-Day Game Drive & Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will depart Karatu and drive towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and beautiful landscapes.
You will enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, exploring its rivers, woodland and open plains. Wildlife commonly encountered includes elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and many bird species.
After the game drive, you will proceed towards the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to Fun Beach Resort for check-in, relaxation and overnight.
