07:00 hrs Meet u with our hospitality representative at your hotel lobby/airport. After introductions and a pre-safari briefing, depart with your dedicated safari driver guide and drive down the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley. Your driver guide will stop at a strategic viewpoint for photography where you will come to view the escarpment and take photos.

Drive on to your destination, Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive at your camp in the early afternoon for check-in and lunch followed by free time at leisure to relax and enjoy a swim as you mesmerise on the breathtaking views of the park.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions - particularly the superb black manned males. You'll see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as - if you're lucky - leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, charge the batteries and enjoy yourself!

Day 2

Full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drives daily in the Reserve. Certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya, Masai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries, and punctuated by marshes and forests.

As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators. This 650 sq kilometre reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere considering its size.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

An early breakfast in the the camp, check-out and drive up towards the Great Rift Valley and onward to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive at your lodge in the early afternoon for check-in and lunch followed by free time at leisure.

You may opt to enjoy a swim in the lodge’s infinity swimming pool as you soak in the breathtaking views of the park!

Afternoon game viewing drives in the park. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it's alkaline and is recognised as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harbouring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost two million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore.

Day 4

After an early breakfast in the lodge, check-out and drive to Nyeri skirting the Aberdare Mountain ranges to Nyahururu falls for a photo-stop. Still known to many as Thomson's Falls, its waters fall 237 feet making it the country’s highest water fall. Enjoy magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment en-route. Drive on to Aberdare Country Club to arrive in time for check-in and lunch.

Later transfer to your overnight destination, The Ark Lodge. Located in the heart of Aberdare National Park in Kenya, The Ark Lodge is a famous, quirky hotel shaped like Noah’s Ark. It overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, offering a "reverse zoo" experience where animals roam free and come right up to the viewing decks while guests watch from inside. So that you don’t miss any animal sightings, the night guard will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole.

Day 5

Aberdares to Nairobi City & Departure

Aberdares to Nairobi City & Departure

After breakfast in the lodge, transfer to the base hotel, Aberdare Country Club for check-out and re-union with your dedicated Safari Driver Guide for your drive Nairobi.

Farewell lunch is at the famed Carnivore Restaurant and is hosted by Afio Mai Africa Safaris Directors to celebrate your Kenya safari adventure.

The Carnivore is a meat speciality restaurant. At the restaurant, whole joints of meat, lamb, pork legs, exotic meats, sausages, chicken livers and wings and even crocodile are skewered on traditional Masai swords and roasted over a huge charcoal pit!

Later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your travel home.

NB: Day room/s can be reserved at a supplementary cost if required.
