Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic baobab trees and massive elephant herds, Tarangire offers exceptional wildlife viewing along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive searching for lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, and diverse birdlife. In the late afternoon, head towards Karatu for dinner and rest.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

Depart early in the morning and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino). Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending back to the crater rim and returning to Karatu.
