07:00 hrs Meet up with our hospitality Representative and your dedicated Safari Driver Guide at your Nairobi Hotel lobby/airport. After introductions and a re-safari briefing, depart and drive down the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley. Your driver guide will stop at a strategic viewpoint for photography where you will come out and view the escarpment and take photos. Drive on to Masai Mara National Game Reserve to arrive at your Camp in the early afternoon for check-in.
Lunch in the Camp followed free time at leisure or you may opt to enjoy a swim in the lodge’s swimming pool overlooking the sprawling savannas.
The reserve is noted for its abundance of lions - particularly the superb black manned males. You'll see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as - if you're lucky - leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, charge the batteries and enjoy yourself!

A full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in the Reserve. Certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya, Masai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries, and punctuated by marshes and forests.
This 650 sq kilometre reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere considering its size. During the seasonal migrations, Masai Mara is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebra that move into the area from neighbouring Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania.

Early breakfast in the camp, check-out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in the early afternoon in time for check-in and lunch.
Afternoon game viewing drive in the park. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it's alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harbouring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction.

Day 4

After breakfast in the lodge, depart and drive to Mweiga in Nyeri skirting the Aberdare Mountain ranges to Nyahururu falls for a photo-stop. Still known to many as Thomson's Falls, its waters fall 237 feet making it the country’s highest water fall. Enjoy magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment en-route. Drive to your base hotel, Aberdare Country Club for check-in and lunch.
Later transfer to your overnight destination, The Ark Lodge. One of Kenya’s more unusual hotels, built literally in the style of Noah’s Ark, and is beautifully situated overlooking a waterhole in the heart of Aberdare National Park. The draw card here is its position – this game-rich reserve has a staggering diversity of wildlife that is drawn to the waterhole. At night, floodlights are switched on so viewing can continue after dark from the comfort of the lounges, dining room and multi-level decks.

Day 5

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the lodge before transferring t the base hotel to link up with your dedicated driver guide for your onward drive to Samburu National Reserve to arrive in time for check-in and lunch.
Later in the afternoon depart for a game drive in the reserve. Samburu is the most accessible game Reserve in the northern region of Kenya. This park represents the semi-arid ecosystem of northern Kenya, displaying some of the most beautiful wild game in Kenya.
Some of the animals, typical of semi-arid ecosystems are the reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk, Oryx, Somali ostrich, and Gravy’s zebra. Many visitors to this reserve are amazed at the large herds of elephants that roam this area.
As the sun sets in the horizon, return to the lodge to refresh for dinner and overnight.

A whole day in the game reserve with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The Samburu National Reserve is among the most pleasant in Kenya, and relatively undiscovered. The permanent forest shade on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River offer wonderful year-round game viewing and the bird life is unusually numerous.
A highlight of this park is watching large numbers of elephant bathing in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Other animals include lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, impalas, elands, crocodiles, and hippopotamus, among others. Bird life is most abundant in this reserve with some of the most beautiful birds.

Day 7

An early morning start for Nairobi driving on the foothills of Mount Kenya for a brief stopover at the Equator Point before Nanyuki Town. Here, the locals perform a water demonstration to qualify the position of the equator and for a small tip you will be awarded an ‘equator certificate’.
Drive on through the Kenyan Central Highlands passing the town of Thika which boasts the world's third largest pineapple plantation to arrive in Nairobi in time for a farewell lunch hosted by Afio Mai Africa Safaris at famed Carnivore Restaurant.
The Carnivore is a meat speciality restaurant. At the restaurant, whole joints of meat, lamb, pork legs, exotic meats, sausages, chicken livers and wings and even crocodile are skewered on traditional Masai swords and roasted over a huge charcoal pit!
Later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your travel home.
