Day 1

Deprt to Jinja - Ssezibwa, Boat Ride to the Source of the Nile

Deprt to Jinja - Ssezibwa, Boat Ride to the Source of the Nile

Drive to Jinja to the source of the River Nile; en route, stop at Ssezibwa Waterfalls to explore the cultural importance attached to these scenic falls. The walk around Ssezibwa takes 1 -2 hours; take pictures, then proceed to Mabira Forest, a beautiful natural forest with a variety of primates, birds, and tree species. At Mabira Forest, have the best guided nature/forest walk for you to keep an eye on different birds, trees, and primates, etc. Afterwards, proceed to Jinja while viewing the extensive tea and sugarcane plantations en route. Proceed to Jinja, to the source of the Nile, followed by an epic boat cruise on the
Nile River to the point where the River Nile separates from Lake Victoria. Retreat from your exciting boat cruise experience and settle for the night at the lodge.

Day 2

After breakfast, head out for an exhilarating white water rafting experience on the legendary River Nile. After a safety briefing, set out on the rapids for an unforgettable thrill, navigating waves and currents with expert guides. The adventure offers both adrenaline and breathtaking scenery along the world’s longest river. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Note: For a family, we recommend a Grade 2 Family Float trip for a minimum age of 6 years. OR Family Float suitable for 4-year-olds.
Alternative Activities: There are pretty much things you can do exploring the Nile; below are some activities that
you can choose from, at an extra cost

Flat water tubing
Quad Biking
Later transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe for departure. This will mark the end of the Jinja- Source of the Nile Adventure.
