Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early morning after breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. You will begin your journey to drive through the "land of giants", Tarangire National Park. You'll drive across the endless golden savannah that grazes along the Tarangire River. This national park is known for its elephants and sprawling baobab trees. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch at the picnic site and take in the remarkable view of the Tarangire River. Keep a close eye on your lunch, as the monkeys won’t hesitate to get away with a tasty treat if given the chance. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation in Karatu, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Enjoy an early morning breakfast from the tented camp before departing for Ngorongoro Crater game drive. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive on the crater floor, home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife. Look for elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and proceed to our partner lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.

Arusha to Kilimanjaro Day-Hike

The Londorossi–Shira Day Hike is a rewarding one-day trekking experience on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Ideal for travelers who want to experience Africa's highest mountain without undertaking a multi-day summit climb, this excursion takes you through the stunning Shira Plateau, one of the world's highest plateaus. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Londorossi Gate for park registration before continuing to the Shira trailhead. Accompanied by a professional guide, you'll hike through beautiful heath and moorland vegetation while enjoying spectacular views of Kibo Peak, volcanic landscapes, and the surrounding plains. Along the way, learn about Kilimanjaro's unique ecosystems, geology, and wildlife. A picnic lunch is served on the plateau, providing an opportunity to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery before returning to the trailhead to the Lodge.

Enjoy swimming, floating in the warm spring water, rope swinging, photography, and relaxing under the shade of large fig trees. It’s the perfect place to unwind after your safari adventure. After lunch and relaxation, you will be transferred by road to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your evening departure. The drive takes you through scenic rural landscapes and local villages, offering a final glimpse of northern Tanzania’s natural beauty and culture. Spend the morning at Chemka Hot Springs, where you can swim, relax, float in the crystal-clear waters, and enjoy the peaceful natural setting. After lunch, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
