Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your dedicated Serengeti Steppe safari guide will be waiting to greet you and escort you comfortably to Arusha. Along the way, you take in your first impressions of Tanzania as you pass through local towns and communities, with everyday life unfolding around you.
On arrival at Mount Meru Hotel, you'll settle into your comfortable surroundings and enjoy some well-deserved time to relax. Wander through the lush tropical gardens, unwind beside the pool, or simply take in the beautiful views of Mount Meru.
In the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant before retreating to your room for a peaceful night’s rest. With your first day in Tanzania complete, you will be refreshed and ready for the safari adventure ahead.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Manyara

After a hearty breakfast, you leave Arusha behind and journey towards Tarangire National Park, a spectacular wilderness shaped by towering baobabs, golden savannahs, and the winding Tarangire River. The park is renowned for its impressive elephant herds and diverse wildlife, making it an exciting destination for a full day of exploration.
You'll spend the day on game drives along the riverbanks and across the open plains, where elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife gather around the water. Your guide will select a scenic spot for a delicious picnic lunch, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful meal surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush.
In the late afternoon, you will leave Tarangire and ascend towards the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You'll arrive at Escarpment Luxury Lodge Manyara, where panoramic views over Lake Manyara, elegant surroundings, and a gourmet dinner provide a relaxing end to the day.

Day 3
Central Serengeti National Park

You will enjoy breakfast with sweeping views across the Rift Valley before setting out towards the legendary Central Serengeti. Your journey takes you through the dramatic Ngorongoro Highlands before descending onto the vast golden plains of the Serengeti, where wildlife can be found in remarkable abundance.
Upon entering the park, begin your exploration by traveling deeper into the Seronera Valley, one of the Serengeti’s most renowned wildlife areas. You'll spend the afternoon searching the plains and rocky outcrops for lions, cheetahs, and elusive leopards, while giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife move across the surrounding savannah.
You will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch along the way, so you can stay immersed in the wilderness and make the most of your time in the park.
As the afternoon light fades, you continue to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. You settle in for a freshly prepared dinner and a peaceful night surrounded by the natural sounds of the Serengeti.

Day 4

You wake early to experience the Serengeti during its most active hours, when the cool morning air brings the plains to life. You set out on a game drive in search of lions, cheetahs, and leopards while vast herds of wildebeest and zebra move across the golden savannah beneath the soft morning light.
After an exhilarating morning exploring the Serengeti, you pause for a scenic picnic lunch surrounded by the open wilderness. Then, you'll begin your journey back towards the Great Rift Valley, leaving the endless plains behind as the landscape gradually changes to rolling highlands and dramatic escarpments.
By late afternoon, you return to Escarpment Luxury Lodge Manyara and settle back into its peaceful surroundings. You will enjoy a delicious dinner as the sun fades over the valley, followed by a restful night overlooking the beautiful landscapes below.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Following an early breakfast, you begin your final safari day with a descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Dropping approximately 600 metres from the rim, you will enter the vast floor of this ancient volcanic caldera, where a remarkable concentration of wildlife thrives within the surrounding crater walls.
You set out on a morning game drive in search of black rhinos, large lion prides, elephants, buffaloes, and grazing herds of wildebeest and zebra. At Lake Magadi, keep watch for flamingos gathering along the shallow waters, adding another beautiful dimension to the crater’s scenery.
You'll enjoy a final safari picnic lunch within this extraordinary natural setting before beginning your ascent from the crater floor. From here, you continue your journey back towards Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your guide will drop you at your preferred location.
