Day 1

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by the Habitat Travel team and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Depending on your arrival time, you may have an opportunity to explore Arusha. Optional activities include visiting local markets, the Cultural Heritage Centre or enjoying a relaxing experience around Lake Duluti.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari adventure officially begins. Your private safari guide will collect you from your hotel around 8:00 AM and drive approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park.

After completing the park entry formalities, begin your first game drive through a landscape famous for its enormous baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and large elephant populations.

Tarangire is particularly rewarding for wildlife viewing, with opportunities to encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and numerous bird species. During the dry season, wildlife concentrates around the Tarangire River, creating excellent viewing opportunities.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the day comes to an end, exit the park and proceed to your lodge in the Karatu area.

Day 3

Karatu – Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, travelling through the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Along the way, stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for photographs and an opportunity to appreciate the enormous volcanic caldera below.

Continue towards the Serengeti, with wildlife sightings possible along the route. Arrive at Naabi Hill Gate around the afternoon and enjoy lunch before entering the Serengeti.

Your afternoon game drive begins as you make your way through the endless plains of the Serengeti. This is one of Tanzania's premier wildlife destinations and an exceptional place to search for the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards, as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.

Continue your game drive into the evening, with the possibility of witnessing a spectacular African sunset before heading to camp.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti.

After breakfast, set out on an extended game drive across the plains and different wildlife habitats of the park. Your experienced guide will continually assess wildlife activity and select the best areas to explore.

The Serengeti is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest, along with many smaller predators and bird species.

Depending on your travel dates and the location of the migrating herds, you may also have the opportunity to witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration.

A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic location inside the park before you continue your afternoon game drive.

Return to your tented camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation beneath the Serengeti skies.

Rise early for a memorable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti. The early morning is one of the best times for wildlife viewing, when predators are often active and the cooler temperatures make animals easier to spot.

Enjoy a packed breakfast or bush breakfast at a scenic location before continuing your wildlife exploration.

Later, begin the journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive provides another opportunity to experience the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania.

Arrive at your accommodation near the crater in the afternoon, allowing time to relax and enjoy the surroundings before dinner.

Wake early and enjoy breakfast before descending into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day wildlife experience.

The crater is one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations. Its enclosed ecosystem supports an impressive concentration of animals, making it one of the best places in Tanzania to search for the Big Five.

During your game drive, look for black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and hippos. The crater's dramatic landscape, surrounded by steep walls and dotted with grasslands, forests, lakes and wetlands, creates a remarkable setting for photography and wildlife observation.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your exploration.

In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but remarkably diverse wildlife destination located beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Begin your game drive through the park's forests, woodland and lakeside habitats. Lake Manyara is known for its large elephant population, diverse birdlife, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and tree-climbing lions.

The lake also attracts large numbers of birds, including flamingoes and other waterbirds, depending on seasonal conditions.

Enjoy lunch while taking in the surrounding scenery before continuing your game drive.

In the afternoon, exit the park and drive back to Arusha, where you will check into your hotel for your final night of the safari.
