Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The transfer gives you your first introduction to Tanzania and the beautiful surroundings of the safari capital. Once at your hotel, you can relax after your journey and enjoy some peaceful time together before your safari adventure begins. Depending on your arrival time, your safari guide or representative will provide a briefing about the journey ahead and answer any questions you may have. After breakfast at your hotel, depart from Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most beautiful wildlife destinations. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, impressive ancient baobab trees, and the seasonal Tarangire River, which attracts a variety of wildlife. After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater and descend approximately 600 metres to the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive. This remarkable natural area is home to a high concentration of wildlife within a relatively small area, offering excellent opportunities for game viewing. Explore the crater's open grasslands, forests, lakes, and other habitats while looking out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and many other animals. With luck, you may also have the opportunity to see the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the crater, surrounded by spectacular scenery. Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings of these animals cannot be guaranteed.
