From there, you’ll enjoy a seamless and comfortable transfer to the enchanting hotel in Arusha. Later, our experienced safari coordinators will provide a pre-safari briefing, offering an exciting preview of the wonders that await you. You will relax and unwind in the serene environment of our partner hotel in Arusha, waiting for the adventure coming the next day.

Arusha to Ndutu Area (Southern Serengeti)

After breakfast, depart Arusha early in the morning and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands to the Ndutu area. You will arrive in time for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains. You will witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras, along with predators that follow the migration. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at our partner tented camp in the Southern Serengeti Ndutu Area.

Full-Day Ndutu Calving Season - Southern Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu region. You witness thousands of wildebeest calves, observe dramatic predator-prey interactions, and enjoy excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and a variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush as you continue your game drive through this wildlife-rich area. After a further game drive, you will drive back to the tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area) to Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

You will enjoy an early morning breakfast at the tented camp before departing for a Ngorongoro Crater game drive. You'll descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive on the crater floor, home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife. Look for elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch, you ascend the crater and proceed to our partner lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
