Arrival at JRO & Road Transfer to Tarangire National Park For Guided Game Drive

Your Tanzania safari begins the moment you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will be warmly welcomed before setting off on a scenic road transfer to Tarangire National Park.

As the journey unfolds, the landscape gradually changes from cultivated farmland to open bush, signaling the wilderness ahead. Upon arrival at Tarangire, you will begin a guided game drive through this remarkable park, famous for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. Keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, impalas, buffaloes, lions, and abundant birdlife around the Tarangire River.

As the day comes to an end, you will proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight, ready for the adventures ahead.

Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater & Guided Crater Game Drive

After breakfast, you’ll depart for a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where breathtaking views await. From the rim, you’ll descend into the crater, a vast volcanic caldera with expansive grasslands, forests, and a shimmering soda lake.

Enjoy a guided game drive across the crater floor, searching for its remarkable wildlife, including prides of lions, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and, with luck, the elusive black rhino. Flamingos may also be seen around Lake Magadi, adding color to the spectacular landscape.

In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight, having experienced one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations.

After breakfast, explore Lake Manyara National Park, where lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the shimmering alkaline lake create a diverse habitat for wildlife. During your game drive, look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, and monkeys. You may also spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions resting in acacia trees, while the lakeshore attracts flamingos and other waterbirds depending on the season.
