Your Tanzania safari begins the moment you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will be warmly welcomed before setting off on a scenic road transfer to Tarangire National Park.

As the journey unfolds, the landscape gradually changes from cultivated farmland to open bush, signaling the wilderness ahead. Upon arrival at Tarangire, you will begin a guided game drive through this remarkable park, famous for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. Keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, impalas, buffaloes, lions, and abundant birdlife around the Tarangire River.

After breakfast, you’ll depart for a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where breathtaking views await. From the rim, you’ll descend into the crater, a vast volcanic caldera with expansive grasslands, forests, and a shimmering soda lake.

Enjoy a guided game drive across the crater floor, searching for its remarkable wildlife, including prides of lions, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and, with luck, the elusive black rhino. Flamingos may also be seen around Lake Magadi, adding color to the spectacular landscape.

In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight, having experienced one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations.
