After an early morning briefing at your hotel, meet your guide and mountain crew before driving approximately 3–4 hours to Londorossi Gate. After park registration and permit formalities, your Kilimanjaro adventure begins.
Trek through the lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp, where your crew will have your tents prepared and a warm meal waiting.

Day 2
Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp

After breakfast, begin a steady ascent as the lush rainforest gradually opens into the expansive moorland. As you climb higher, enjoy spectacular views across the Shira Plateau and toward Kibo Peak.
The trek to Shira 1 Camp takes approximately 5–6 hours, offering a gentle pace that supports natural acclimatization.
After arriving at camp, enjoy a warm lunch prepared by your mountain crew, followed by time to relax or explore the surrounding scenery.

Day 3
Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
After breakfast, trek across the spectacular Shira Plateau from Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp. The gentle 4–5-hour hike offers stunning volcanic landscapes, unique high-altitude vegetation, and panoramic views toward Mount Meru on clear days.
After lunch at camp, enjoy a short acclimatization hike toward Lava Tower before returning to Shira 2. This climb high, sleep low approach helps your body adapt to the increasing altitude.

Day 4
Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower, Descent to Barranco Camp

After breakfast, ascend through the dramatic alpine desert toward Lava Tower, reaching approximately 4,630 m. After time to acclimatize and enjoy lunch, begin the descent into the beautiful Barranco Valley.
Arriving at Barranco Camp at 3,960 m, you can relax and take in spectacular views of the famous Barranco Wall and surrounding peaks. The day’s climb high, sleep low profile provides valuable acclimatization before the summit stages ahead.

Day 5
Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
After an early breakfast, tackle the iconic Barranco Wall, one of Kilimanjaro’s most memorable sections. The climb takes around an hour and rewards you with spectacular views of Kibo Peak and the surrounding valleys.
Continue across a series of ridges and valleys toward Karanga Camp, where a warm lunch and time to relax await.
In the afternoon, enjoy a short acclimatization hike toward Barafu Camp before returning to Karanga for dinner and a well-earned rest.

Day 6
Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
After breakfast, ascend toward Barafu Camp, the final base camp before your summit attempt. Upon arrival, your crew will have your camp prepared, allowing you to rest and conserve energy.
A short acclimatization hike toward Kosovo Camp follows, using the “climb high, sleep low” approach to prepare your body for the summit.
Return to Barafu for an early dinner and final summit preparations. Rest as much as possible—your ascent to Uhuru Peak begins around midnight.

Day 7
Summit Uhuru Peak & Millennium Camp
Summit Uhuru Peak & Millennium Camp
Your summit adventure begins around midnight as you depart Barafu Camp for Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. The ascent is physically demanding due to the altitude, but your dedicated mountain guide will support and monitor you throughout the climb.
Reach the summit at sunrise and celebrate your achievement on the Roof of Africa, surrounded by breathtaking views across Tanzania. After taking in this unforgettable moment, descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing to Millennium Camp at 3,820 m.
Enjoy a well-deserved evening of rest after an extraordinary day on Kilimanjaro.

Day 8
Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate
Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate
After breakfast at Millennium Camp, begin your final descent through the lush rainforest toward Mweka Gate. The cooler, greener surroundings provide a refreshing contrast to the high-altitude landscapes of the previous days.
Upon reaching the gate, celebrate your successful Uhuru Peak summit, complete the park formalities, and receive your commemorative Kilimanjaro certificate.
From Mweka Gate, transfer to Moshi or the airport, depending on your travel plans, bringing your unforgettable Kilimanjaro journey to a close.
