Day 1

Your safari journey starts with a convenient morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. Board your comfortable safari vehicle and head northwest toward the escarpment. Make a memorable photo stop at The Great Rift Valley View Point to take in the vast views of the valley floor below.

Continue downhill into Naivasha, arriving in time to check in to your resort or lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, choose your preferred lakeside adventure (at personal cost): embark on a tranquil boat ride across Lake Naivasha to spot resident hippos and fish eagles, or take a guided walking safari at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary among grazing zebras and giraffes. After breakfast, check out of your Naivasha lodge and take a pleasant drive deeper into the Rift Valley toward Nakuru. Arrive at your hotel or lodge in time for check-in and lunch, followed by a quiet afternoon to unwind. In the late afternoon, you can relax at your hotel or choose an optional trip (at personal cost) to visit Menengai Crater. Stand on the rim of one of the world's largest volcanic calderas to take in panoramic views of the surrounding countryside as the sun sets. Head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
