Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

06:30 AM – Pick‑up from Nairobi hotel / Airport.
- Embark on scenic drive north via Mt. Kenya region, with a short stop for photos and refreshments.

12:30 PM – Arrive at Samburu National Reserve.
Welcome drink, lodge/camp check‑in and orientation briefing.

01:00 PM – Lunch overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River.

02:30 PM – 05:00 PM – Afternoon game drive
- Leave the lodge for an afternoon game drive in search for Samburu’s “Special Five” and big cats along the riverbanks.
- Drive across acacia‑dotted plains and rugged hills.
- Follow the Ewaso Nyiro River, a lifeline for wildlife.
- Spot elephants gathering at the riverbanks.
- Look out for crocodiles basking on sandy shores.
- Track Samburu’s “Special Five”: - Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx & Somali ostrich.

05:00 PM – Return to lodge for leisure, dinner and overnight stay under Samburu’s starry skies.

06:30 AM – 08:30 AM – Early morning game drive:
-Start the day with an early morning game drive. Witness predators returning from the night hunt.
-Spot elephants, zebras and antelopes grazing in the cool dawn.
-Enjoy the dramatic sunrise over Samburu’s rugged hills.

08:30 AM – Return to lodge for breakfast.
-Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge.

09:30 AM – Check‑out and depart Samburu.
-Scenic drive south through Mt. Kenya region with optional photo stops.

02:00 PM – Arrive in Nairobi, drop‑off at hotel or airport.

Optional lunch at the Carnivore restaurant. At an extra cost ranging from USD 50 Per person. Later have a complimentary drop off at your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport.
