Nairobi to Maasai Mara

At 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or the airport and begin your journey to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. En route, enjoy a brief 10–15 minute stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views and photographs.

Arrive in Maasai Mara in time for lunch and check-in at your flair camp. After some time to relax, depart at 4:00 PM for an exciting afternoon game drive until sunset. Explore the vast plains of the Mara in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and many other wildlife species.

Return to your accommodation at approximately 6:00 PM for a delicious buffet dinner and overnight stay.

The standard package includes accommodation outside the reserve. However, upon request and at an additional cost, you can upgrade to premium accommodation located inside Maasai Mara National Reserve, such as Mara Serena Safari Lodge, Royal Mara Lodge or other available lodges and camps.

Maasai Mara Game drive

Choose between an early sunrise game drive starting at 5:30 AM before breakfast, or depart after breakfast at around 7:00 AM. You may also opt for a packed breakfast to enjoy during your morning game drive.

Spend the day exploring the vast Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five and other incredible wildlife. Visit different areas of the reserve, including the Mara River, home to resident hippos and crocodiles and famous for the dramatic wildebeest crossings during the migration season.

For lunch, you can choose between returning to the lodge for a freshly prepared hot lunch or enjoying a picnic lunch in the park, allowing you to maximize your wildlife viewing time.

Continue with an afternoon game drive and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Maasai Mara plains before returning to your camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Maasai Mara to Lake nakuru National park

Early breakfast then depart for your drive to Lake Nakuru with a brief optional stop at Maasai Village for cultural encounter- Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people as you en route out of Maasai Mara.

Thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru. You will arrive in time for lunch and check in.

In the evening proceed for a evening sunset game drive to explore Lake Nakuru National Park, a scenic Rift Valley wildlife sanctuary renowned for its rhinos, abundant birdlife, dramatic landscapes and excellent game viewing. Enjoy a game drive through the park in search of lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife.

Nakuru to Nairobi

You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts atleast 3 hours, after which you depart on a 2-hour drive back to Nairobi hotel/residence/airport for drop off. On this day you will have lunch at a transit stop in Naivasha there is an optional visit to lake naivasha at an extra cost.
