Mokoro Overnight - Okavango Delta

Your adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Maun at around 9:00 AM. You travel towards the Okavango Delta, where you meet your local Mokoro poler and begin gliding through peaceful waterways in a traditional dugout canoe. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery, birdlife, and wildlife along the way. You arrive at your wilderness campsite and enjoy a freshly prepared packed lunch. In the afternoon, you take a guided bush walk to explore the Delta, learn about its plants and wildlife. Then, you return to camp for dinner, a campfire, and your first night under the African stars.

Mokoro Adventure into the Okavango Delta together with Guided Bush Walk

You'll wake up early at the campsite and enjoy breakfast before continuing your Okavango Delta adventure. You'll spend the morning exploring the waterways by Mokoro, guided by a local poler who will share knowledge about the Delta, its wildlife, birds, and plants. You will enjoy lunch at the campsite and take time to relax in the peaceful surroundings. In the afternoon, you head out for another guided bush walk, looking for animal tracks and learning about the natural environment. You return to camp in the evening for dinner, a campfire, and another night under the beautiful African sky.

Sunrise Mokoro Ride & Return to Maun

You arrive in Maun around midday, marking the end of your unforgettable 2-night, 3-day Mokoro camping adventure.
