Journey to the Mara

Your safari begins in the morning at the designated meeting point in Nairobi. Meet your driver-guide and set off towards the Masai Mara, travelling through the spectacular Great Rift Valley and scenic Kenyan countryside. Upon arrival, settle in and take some time to relax before heading out at around 16:00 for your first exciting game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Explore the vast savannah and encounter its incredible wildlife before returning for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early wake up call

Begin the day with an early morning game drive at around 06:30, when wildlife is particularly active across the open plains. Return for some time to relax before heading back into the reserve at approximately 16:00 for an afternoon game drive. Throughout the day, experience the spectacular scenery of the Masai Mara and search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs and many other species that call this remarkable ecosystem home.
