06:00 AM – Depart Nairobi via Mombasa Road, enjoying sunrise views over the Athi plains. The drive offers glimpses of rural homesteads and bustling roadside markets.
08:30 AM – Refreshment stop at Mtito Andei; stretch your legs, grab tea or coffee and soak in the atmosphere of this lively highway town.
10:30 AM – Enter Tsavo East through Bachuma Gate. Begin your first game drive en route to the lodge, scanning the savannah for elephants, giraffes, zebras and the occasional lion basking in the morning sun.
12:30 PM – Arrive at your lodge/camp. Check in, enjoy a hearty lunch and relax while overlooking the park’s vast plains.
2:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Afternoon game drive. Visit Aruba Dam, a magnet for wildlife, where elephants gather to drink and hippos wallow. Keep an eye out for cheetahs stalking prey and vibrant birdlife along the water.
5:30 - 6:00PM – Return to lodge for dinner. Share stories of the day by the campfire or unwind under the starry African sky before overnight stay.

Day 2

06:30–08:00 – Early morning game drive in Tsavo East, spotting predators retreating, elephants dusting red and antelopes grazing.
08:30 – Breakfast at lodge with sweeping savannah views.
09:30 – Depart for Tsavo West (approx. 3 hrs), enjoying changing scenery en route.
12:30 – Stop at Shetani Lava Flow, a dramatic volcanic field perfect for photos and storytelling.
13:00 – Time for Picnic packed lunch
14:00–17:30 – Visit Mzima Springs, a lush oasis with hippos, crocodiles, and fish seen through the underwater chamber. Continue to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary for rare black rhino sightings.
18:00 – Return to lodge, unwind as the sun sets over volcanic hills.
19:30 – Dinner and overnight stay, with optional stargazing under Tsavo’s dazzling skies.

06:00 - 06:30 - Early morning breakfast at the lodge
06:30–08:00 – Sunrise game drive across volcanic landscapes, exploring Chaimu Crater’s black lava slopes and spotting elephants, antelopes, and birdlife stirring in the cool dawn.
10:00–12:00 – Optional guided walk with ranger to learn about tracks, medicinal plants, and smaller wildlife often missed from vehicles.
12:30 – Packed picnic lunch at the pack.
15:00–17:30 – Afternoon game drive seeking elephants, buffalos, leopards and vibrant birdlife. Visit Lake Jipe if time allows for birdwatching and views of the Pare Mountains.
Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, with optional cultural performance by the Taita community featuring traditional dances and music.

07:30 – Leisurely breakfast at the lodge, enjoying the morning views of Tsavo’s volcanic hills and listening to birdsong.
08:00 – Depart Tsavo West for Nairobi. The journey retraces the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, offering final glimpses of rugged park terrain before transitioning into bustling towns and farmlands.
12:30–13:00 – Stop at Voi or Mtito Andei for lunch/refreshments, a chance to stretch, refresh and enjoy local hospitality.
14:00 – Arrive in Nairobi, with drop-off at hotel or residence. The safari closes with lasting memories of elephants, rhinos, volcanic landscapes and Tsavo’s legendary history.
