Your adventure begins as you are met by your driver-guide and head toward the scenic Siha District, home to Serval Wildlife sanctuary. Nestled between Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, this conservation haven allows you to interact closely with rescued animals, including free-roaming giraffes, majestic lions, bright ostriches, and elusive serval cats. After feeding the animals and learning about regional wildlife protection efforts from knowledgeable handlers, you will drive through rural countryside to your hotel in Moshi for a evening of rest and briefing for the days ahead.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will leave the town behind and venture across dry acacia-dotted plains toward an unexpected oasis hidden in the bush. Chemka Hot Springs, locally known as Kikuletwa, features crystal-clear, warm geothermal waters surrounded by massive, twisting fig trees. Spend your day swimming in the refreshing pools, swinging from rope swings into the deep turquoise waters, or relaxing in the shade while local cooks prepare a fresh, warm lunch on site. In the late afternoon, you will return to Moshi as the setting sun illuminates the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Today is dedicated to exploring the lush lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and immersing yourself in local Chagga culture. You will travel to Materuni Village, where a local guide will lead you on a scenic forty-five-minute hike through banana groves and coffee farms to the dramatic eighty-meter Materuni Waterfall. After enjoying the cool spray and stunning mountain canyon views, you will trek back to the village for a traditional home-cooked lunch. The afternoon features an interactive coffee workshop where you will pick, roast, grind, and brew your own cup of organic Chagga coffee while participating in traditional folk songs and dancing.

Day 4

On your final day, put on your trekking boots for an unforgettable hike on Mount Kilimanjaro. You will drive to the Marangu Gate to complete national park registration before stepping into the dense montane rainforest. As you hike three to four hours uphill, keep your eyes open for colorful birds and playful black-and-white colobus monkeys in the canopy. Upon reaching Mandara Hut at 2,700 meters, you will enjoy a packed picnic lunch and take a short walk to the edge of Maundi Crater for panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Afterward, you will descend back to the park gates and transferring to Moshi.
