Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania. Upon entering the park, the safari officially begins, with an afternoon game drive en route to your lodge/camp. Keep your eyes open for wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions and other wildlife roaming across the vast plains. As you continue deeper into the Serengeti, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and your first exciting encounters with the Great Migration herds.

Central Serengeti- Great Migration Adventure

After breakfast, set out for an exciting wildlife exploration across the Central Serengeti plains. Spend the day following the movements of the Great Migration herds as they graze and move across the endless grasslands. Your experienced guide will help you search for large concentrations of wildebeest and zebras, as well as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and hippos.

The Central Serengeti is also famous for its rich population of predators, so keep watch for lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness surrounded by the spectacular scenery before continuing with more game viewing until late afternoon. As the sun begins to set, drive back to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening.
