Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, offering scenic views along the way. Alternatively, arrivals at Arusha Airport (ARK) can enjoy a smooth 20–30-minute transfer to the hotel.

Once you arrive, settle in and relax after your journey. If you wish to explore more of Arusha, an optional guided city tour can be arranged at an additional cost, offering a chance to experience the city’s culture, local markets, and landmarks.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in Arusha as you prepare for the exciting safari ahead.

Begin your day with an early breakfast before departing Arusha for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Tanzanian countryside, passing villages, farmlands, and beautiful landscapes before reaching the park, known for its iconic baobab trees and abundant wildlife.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through Tarangire, renowned for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and numerous bird species. Explore the park’s varied landscapes and seasonal water sources with your experienced guide, stopping for a picnic lunch in the wilderness along the way.

Day 3

Karatu to south Serengeti

Begin your day with an early breakfast before departing Karatu towards the spectacular Southern Serengeti and Ndutu plains. Travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying changing landscapes as you approach the open plains of Ndutu.

During the calving season, thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather across the plains with their newborns, attracting lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators. Upon reaching Ndutu, enjoy a game drive with your experienced guide, exploring the seasonal lakes, open grasslands, and surrounding woodlands in search of incredible wildlife encounters.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Ndutu as the first golden rays of sunlight sweep across the Southern Serengeti. Enjoy one final opportunity to witness the remarkable calving season, with wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains with their newborns while lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators remain nearby.

After your morning adventure, depart Ndutu and enjoy a scenic journey towards the Ngorongoro Highlands, travelling through the changing landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Watch the open savannah gradually give way to rolling hills, lush valleys, forests, and picturesque countryside.

Begin your final safari day with an early breakfast before departing the Ngorongoro Highlands for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and ancient volcanic caldera renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife.

Descend into the crater for a morning game drive, exploring its fertile grasslands, lakes, and diverse habitats. Look out for lions, endangered rhinos, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, flamingos, and other wildlife as you discover this remarkable ecosystem.

At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the crater surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After lunch, continue your final exploration before ascending the crater walls and driving towards Arusha.

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward journey, according to your travel schedule.
