Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport and depart at approximately 6:30 AM for Tarangire National Park, located about 150 km from Arusha, with a drive of around two hours. Upon arrival, you will begin an exciting game drive through the park, with approximately six hours dedicated to exploring its diverse landscapes and wildlife. A hot lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to relax and enjoy the surroundings before continuing with an afternoon game drive.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, abundant birdlife, impressive baobab trees, and rich wildlife. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a vital source of water, attracting animals from across the area. Keep your eyes open for lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and many species of birds. After an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing, you will head to Ngedere Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart at approximately 6:30 AM from Ngedere Lodge and begin your scenic journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive takes around four hours and covers approximately 231 km, offering beautiful views of Tanzania’s changing landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site before setting out on an exciting afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains and abundant wildlife, giving you excellent opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other species in their natural habitat.

As the day comes to an end, you will make your way to Seronera Campsite. Our experienced team will take care of setting up your camping equipment, including erecting your tent and preparing a comfortable sleeping arrangement. Relax, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and spend a memorable night beneath the African stars.

Day 3

Start your day with an early breakfast or a cup of coffee before heading out at approximately 6:30 AM for an exciting morning game drive in the Serengeti. The early hours offer excellent opportunities to spot wildlife, as animals are most active in the cooler morning temperatures. After the game drive, return to the campsite for a relaxing brunch.

In the afternoon, continue with a game drive as you gradually make your way out of Serengeti National Park. Enjoy your final views of the vast plains and wildlife before driving toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will spend the night outside the crater rim, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, where you can relax and enjoy a tranquil evening beneath the African sky.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater for an approximately six-hour game drive. A picnic lunch will be served inside the crater, allowing you to enjoy your meal surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO-listed natural wonder formed from the remains of a collapsed volcano. Covering approximately 260 km², its crater floor features a remarkable variety of habitats, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, forests, swamps, and a seasonal salt lake. This diverse ecosystem supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife and offers some of Tanzania’s finest game-viewing opportunities.

Keep an eye out for the famous Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—as well as hippos, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and numerous bird species. After your game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to Karibu Heritage House for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Along the way, your local guide will share fascinating stories about the area, its history, and the traditions of the Chagga people, who have called the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro home for generations.

You’ll then visit a local coffee farm to discover the traditional coffee-making process, from cultivation and drying to roasting and brewing. Experience how coffee is prepared by hand while enjoying traditional Chagga songs and learning about time-honoured techniques. You’ll have the opportunity to taste freshly prepared local coffee and sample a traditional banana soup.
