Zanzibar Island to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins in Zanzibar with a morning flight to Arusha Airport, where your private safari guide will meet you. From Arusha, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.

Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s beautiful landscapes and looking out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. Your experienced guide will share fascinating insights about the wildlife and ecosystem throughout the day.

After the game drive, continue to Karatu for check-in at your accommodation, followed by dinner and a relaxing evening.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart from your accommodation in Karatu and drive towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for an unforgettable game drive through this unique natural ecosystem, home to an impressive concentration of wildlife.

Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and possibly the endangered black rhino. You will also have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking scenery of the crater and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.

After the game drive, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back towards Arusha Airport. Your driver will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your memorable 2-day safari adventure.
