Pick up from Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable national park

Our guide will welcome you and pick you up from Entebbe or any place around, give you a general briefing about the entire trip.
Begin your journey early in the morning with a scenic drive from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, enjoy the picturesque landscapes of rolling hills, terraced farms, and traditional homesteads.
Take a break at the equator for a photo opportunity and to witness the water experiment demonstrating the Coriolis Effect and later take a next stop over in Mbarara for a lunch break.
Later proceed to the home of Gorillas Bwindi.
Arrive at the lodge in Bwindi in the evening and check in.
Relaxation: Spend the rest of the evening at leisure, preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking experience.
Then Dinner, briefing on gorilla tracking which will be the activity for the following day and overnight.

Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience

After an early morning delicious breakfast served at the lodge, you shall leave the lodge, short drive to the park headquarters for briefing from park ranger guides before starting your gorilla trek through steeply forested and beautiful landscape along several animal traits. The climax of the adventure is the opportunity to view the gentle and endangered mountain gorillas which is an exciting and memorable experience.
This may take 3 to 8 hours.
After the tracking activity, return back to the park headquarters and later to the lodge.
Relaxation, and later in the evening, you can go for Batwa cultural experience close to the lodge.

Gorilla habituation and transfer to lake Bunyonyi

An early morning breakfast will be served at the lodge, short drive and report to the park headquarters.
Attend the general briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide.
Later, short entertainment from the local community.
Begin the walk to the gorillas’ natural habitats led by experienced armed ranger guides. As you glide through the impenetrable lash of the jungle, keep your eyes wide open, follow the trails and maintain maximum silence as this rewards a chance to see other primates in the forest and birds.
When you reach to the gorillas’ sight, respect the gorilla distance as instructed by the ranger guide, avoid flash photography and obey other gorilla tracking rules and regulations.
Use a chance to inquire everything you would wish to know about the gorillas from the guide while still interacting with the gorillas. After you shall return back to the lodge, check out and transfer to the famous lake Bunyonyi (a lake with 29 islands on it).

Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi

After the early morning breakfast, you shall go for a morning boat cruise doing islands tour, later check out of the lodge and start off the journey heading back to Entebbe.
You shall have a stopover on the way for lunch break.
And later on, proceed to Entebbe International Airport for a drop off.
