Fly from Zanzibar or Arusha to Kogatende in Northern Serengeti, where your Great Migration adventure begins. Search for wildebeest herds, zebras, elephants, giraffes, and predators as you explore the famous Mara River area before arriving at your comfortable mid-range lodge for dinner and your first overnight between the wildlife.

Full-Day Game Drive – Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)

Spend a full day exploring the spectacular Northern Serengeti migration ecosystem around Kogatende. With a private vehicle, your safari is flexible choose between morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day adventure with a picnic lunch surrounded by the wilderness. Explore the Mara River crossing points, open plains, and predator hotspots while searching for migrating wildebeest, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other iconic wildlife.

On this day it is optional to choose for a Balloon safari above the Serengeti for an additional price.

Drive from Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, leave Northern Serengeti behind and enjoy a scenic game drive south toward the heart of the Serengeti, Central Serengeti (Seronera). Along the way, keep your eyes open for wildlife across the endless plains before arriving in the Seronera Valley, one of the park’s most reliable areas for year-round game viewing. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, and other resident wildlife before settling into your comfortable lodge or camp.

Central serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

This will be your last day in the Serengeti. We'll say goodbye to the park in style!

Following breakfast, you'll go on an early morning game drive with a packed lunch that will last 6 hours. You’ll get to experience what the Serengeti is famous for (stunning beauty, diverse landscapes, and amazing wildlife) for one last time.

You’ll then head back to your campsite for lunch, grab your things, and finally drive to Ngorongoro Highlands. You'll be stopping along the way for more wildlife viewing.

Exploring the Ngorongoro Crater and Returning to Zanzibar

Following an early breakfast, you'll drive from suricata boma Lodge and then descend 600 meters into the crater for your last wildlife viewing.

This stunning place will offer you almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino (you'll be the luckiest traveler if you spot one).

Lunch will then be served at the crater's base about lunchtime near a hippo lake, and after that, take your last photos in the park. You'll then be transferred back to Arusha, then to Zanzibar.
