Meet your Migsam Safaris representative after immigration and baggage collection. Enjoy a private transfer to Arusha and check in at your hotel, allowing time to relax and recover from your international journey.
The arrival day is intentionally kept light, with no wildlife activities scheduled. At a comfortable time, your guide will conduct a safari briefing covering the route, departure time, luggage arrangements, dietary requirements, and your preferred game-drive pace.
The evening is free to enjoy dinner and rest before the safari begins. Any optional activities can be discussed and confirmed in advance, ensuring a smooth and relaxed start to your Tanzania safari.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire
Arusha to Tarangire
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park and enter the park before lunch. Enjoy a full afternoon game drive through the river system, seasonal swamps, and iconic baobab woodlands. Your private guide will select the best route based on recent wildlife movements, fresh tracks, and road conditions, often exploring quieter tracks when possible.
Tarangire rewards patient exploration, with elephant herds often among the highlights, alongside a variety of other wildlife and birdlife. Enjoy a picnic or lodge lunch and take time to pause during the warmer hours before continuing your afternoon drive.
Later, exit the park and transfer to Karatu, arriving before dark. Settle into your lodge, enjoy a shower and dinner, and relax after an exciting day in the park.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a five- to six-hour game drive. The crater’s unique landscape combines open grasslands, forest, wetlands, and the lake area, giving your guide several productive routes to explore based on current wildlife movements and conditions.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at an authorized site before continuing your game drive. Your guide will manage the available crater time carefully, allowing for patient wildlife viewing while ensuring enough time for the ascent and onward journey.
Wildlife sightings are naturally unpredictable, but the crater offers opportunities to see a wide variety of species, including elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, and, with luck, black rhino. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to your lodge near the crater rim or conservation-area boundary.

After breakfast, drive across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Naabi Hill, then enter Serengeti National Park and continue at a relaxed game-drive pace toward the central plains. Enjoy your first introduction to the Serengeti’s endless grasslands, rocky kopjes, and riverine corridors while searching for wildlife along the way.
A packed lunch allows your guide to pause wherever wildlife activity is developing, maximizing time in the park. Central Serengeti supports abundant wildlife throughout the year, so the route is adapted to current conditions, fresh sightings, and animal movements rather than relying solely on migration patterns.
Arrive at your camp in the late afternoon, settle in, and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.

Begin with an early morning game drive in the Seronera area, making the most of your final hours in the Serengeti. Your guide will focus on wildlife, species, or landscapes not yet encountered, following current conditions and recent sightings.
After the game drive, continue to the nearby airstrip for your confirmed flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, a Migsam driver will meet you and provide a private transfer to a day room, Arusha hotel, or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your onward travel schedule.
The early start offers cooler temperatures and softer morning light, providing one final opportunity for memorable wildlife encounters before your safari comes to an end.
