Your safari adventure begins at Cape Town International Airport, where you board your scheduled flight to Hoedspruit Airport (HDS), gateway to the Greater Kruger wilderness.
On arrival, meet your Africa Moja Tours representative and transfer to KwaMbili Safari Lodge, situated within Thornybush Private Nature Reserve. Settle into the peaceful bush surroundings and enjoy lunch, depending on your flight arrival time, before preparing for your first safari.
Later in the afternoon, depart in an open 4x4 safari vehicle with an experienced ranger for your first private-reserve game drive. Explore the reserve in search of elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos and other wildlife as the heat of the day begins to fade.
Stop in the bush for sundowners before continuing your drive as evening approaches, offering an opportunity to experience the transition from daytime wildlife to nocturnal activity
Return to KwaMbili for a delicious dinner.

Day 2

Wake before sunrise and enjoy tea or coffee before departing on an early morning safari in Thornybush Private Nature Reserve.
The cooler morning hours provide excellent opportunities to search for wildlife while the bush awakens. Your ranger will interpret tracks, animal behaviour and the surrounding ecosystem while searching for memorable sightings.
Return to KwaMbili Safari Lodge for a hearty breakfast followed by time to relax. Enjoy the tranquil lodge atmosphere before lunch and your afternoon safari.
Later, head back into the reserve for another afternoon and evening game drive. Private-reserve safaris provide an intimate bush experience in open 4x4 vehicles, allowing your guide to concentrate on quality wildlife encounters.
Enjoy a traditional sundowner stop in the bush before continuing the safari into the early evening.
Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening beneath the African sky.

Begin your final morning at Thornybush with another early morning game drive, providing one last opportunity to search for the wildlife of the private reserve.
Watch the sunrise over the bushveld while your ranger searches for fresh tracks and signs of wildlife activity. After the safari, return to KwaMbili for breakfast before checking out.
Your Africa Moja Tours driver will meet you for your private transfer south through the Greater Kruger region towards Kruger Gate Hotel, located beside the iconic Kruger Park.
The journey between the two properties marks the transition from the intimate private-reserve experience of Thornybush to the vast wilderness of Kruger National Park.
Arrive at Kruger Gate Hotel, check in and enjoy lunch before spending the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Relax around the hotel, enjoy the swimming pool or simply unwind after the journey.
Dinner is included at the hotel, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed evening before the next day's full safari.

Day 4

Wake early and prepare for your first full-day safari in Kruger National Park. After an early breakfast or arranged breakfast option, meet your professional Africa Moja Tours safari guide and depart in an open safari vehicle.
Enter Kruger and spend the day exploring the wildlife-rich southern section of the park. Your guide will select routes according to recent sightings and wildlife movements while searching for lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalo, together with giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and numerous antelope species.
The full-day format gives you time to explore a much larger area of the park rather than rushing between sightings. Regular comfort stops will be made at selected Kruger rest camps.
Lunch is included and will be enjoyed during the safari at one of the park's designated rest camps or restaurants.
Continue exploring during the afternoon before returning to Kruger Gate Hotel at approximately 15:30.

Today offers another complete day dedicated to exploring Kruger National Park, giving you the opportunity to cover different routes and habitats from the previous day's safari.
Depart early in an open safari vehicle with your professional guide. No two days in Kruger are the same, and today's journey provides another opportunity to search for the Big Five and discover the smaller details of the ecosystem that are often missed on shorter safaris.
Your guide can explore alternative roads and wildlife areas based on seasonal conditions and recent sightings. Stop for breakfast or refreshments during the morning before continuing deeper into the park.
Lunch is included at a selected Kruger rest camp, providing time to relax before beginning the afternoon section of your safari.
Continue searching for wildlife as you slowly make your way back towards Kruger Gate. After two consecutive full-day safaris, guests will have experienced an extensive introduction to southern Kruger.
