Fly from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch – Dorze Village & Forty Springs

In the morning, your guide will meet you at Arba Minch, located approximately 520 kilometers from Addis Ababa at an elevation of about 1,280 meters above sea level. Upon arrival in Arba Minch, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for check-in, after which you will drive approximately 20 kilometers to the beautiful Dorze villages. Here, you will explore the unique traditional lifestyle, culture, houses, weaving traditions, and daily activities of the Dorze people before returning to Arba Minch for lunch at your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit Forty Springs, enjoying the beautiful natural lakes, dense forest, and surrounding wildlife, with a chance to see Gelada baboons, before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay at Wubete Hotel.

Arba Minch – Konso Village – Arba Minch

After an early breakfast, you will drive from Arba Minch to the Konso villages, approximately 80 kilometers away, to discover one of the most fascinating cultural landscapes in southern Ethiopia. Upon arrival, you will take a short 10-minute rest before beginning your village visit, where you will learn about the remarkable stone terraces, traditional walls, village organization, farming practices, and the preparation of traditional medicines. After the visit, you will enjoy lunch before driving back to Arba Minch, taking in the beautiful scenery and rural landscapes along the way. In the evening, you will arrive back at your hotel and relax, with an overnight stay at Wubete Hotel.

Fly to Addis Ababa – Farewell Dinner

After an early breakfast, you will drive approximately 10 kilometers from Arba Minch to Lake Chamo, where you will take a boat trip to explore the lake and enjoy its beautiful scenery and rich wildlife. During the boat excursion, you will have the opportunity to see different species of birds as well as large crocodiles along the shores and in the waters of the lake. After the boat trip, you will return to the hotel for lunch and after that end of the tour.
