Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Fly from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara, where you will be met and transferred to Ashnil Mara Camp. After settling into camp and enjoying lunch, head out for your first afternoon game drive across the reserve, watching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions and other wildlife. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the Mara.

Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is particularly active and the light is ideal for photography. Return to camp for breakfast before continuing with a full-day safari, carrying a picnic lunch so you can explore deeper into the reserve without returning to camp at midday. Your safari will focus on the Mara’s diverse wildlife and landscapes, with opportunities to encounter the Big Five and, depending on the season, large concentrations of wildebeest and other plains game. Return to Ashnil Mara Camp in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Maasai Mara Exploration

Enjoy another full day of safari with an early morning drive followed by breakfast and further exploration of the reserve. Your guide can take you to different areas of the Mara in search of wildlife and offer opportunities to observe predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as the many herbivores that inhabit the plains. After lunch, continue on an afternoon game drive before returning to camp as the sun sets over the Mara. Spend your final evening at Ashnil Mara Camp with dinner and an overnight stay.
