Your 5-day Tanzania camping safari begins in Arusha with an early morning departure toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. After entering the park, enjoy a full-day game drive through landscapes of ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, open grasslands and acacia woodland. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions and numerous bird species. During the dry season, wildlife gathers around the Tarangire River, creating excellent opportunities for photography and game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon safari. In the evening, leave Tarangire and proceed to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, continue your Tanzania safari toward Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful wildlife area located beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive through the park, where groundwater forests, open plains, woodland and the seasonal lake create diverse habitats for wildlife. Lake Manyara is known for its large elephant population, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, baboons and abundant birdlife. With luck, you may also encounter lions resting in trees or other predators moving through the grasslands. The park offers a wonderful contrast to Tarangire and provides excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your exploration. Later in the afternoon, exit Lake Manyara National Park and proceed toward your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic highlands and continuing toward the vast Serengeti plains. The journey itself offers spectacular views of Tanzania's countryside and traditional communities. Upon entering Serengeti National Park, begin your game drive across the endless grasslands, searching for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. The Serengeti is world-famous for the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest and other grazing animals move across the ecosystem in search of fresh grass and water. Wildlife sightings can be unpredictable, making every game drive a unique experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and continue exploring the park in the afternoon. As the day ends, proceed to Dik Dik Public Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Wake early for breakfast and enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is often active and the cooler temperatures provide excellent safari conditions. Explore the Serengeti plains while searching for predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. After the morning safari, continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with more opportunities to observe wildlife and experience Tanzania's changing landscapes along the way. Depending on the day's conditions, enjoy a picnic lunch during the journey. In the afternoon, arrive in the Ngorongoro highlands and proceed to Simba A Public Campsite, located near the crater area. Enjoy dinner and relax at the campsite while preparing for the following day's Ngorongoro Crater safari.

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable morning game drive. Explore the crater floor, a unique natural ecosystem surrounded by dramatic volcanic walls and home to abundant wildlife. Keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and a variety of bird species. With luck, you may also have the opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater while taking in the incredible scenery before beginning the ascent. After leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continue your journey toward Arusha, enjoying the changing landscapes and views of the Tanzanian countryside along the way. Arrive in Arusha town in the afternoon or evening, where your 5-day Tanzania camping safari comes to an end after an incredible Northern Circuit adventure through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
