Your safari begins with pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala and a scenic journey towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, make a stop at the Equator, where you can take photos, explore the nearby shops and enjoy a short break. Continue through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing local communities, farms and rolling hills. Have lunch along the way before continuing towards Bwindi. As you approach the park, the landscape becomes greener and more mountainous. Arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in and relax as you prepare for your gorilla trekking experience.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Enter Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with experienced guides and trackers in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Trek through the dense rainforest while enjoying the unique vegetation, birdlife and beautiful surroundings. Once you find the gorillas, spend the permitted time observing them as they feed, rest and interact in their natural environment. After the trek, return to the lodge, refresh and have lunch before travelling to Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive in the evening, check in and enjoy the peaceful views around the lake.

Enjoy a relaxed morning at Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by green hills and beautiful scenery. Take time to unwind at your accommodation or enjoy views of the lake and its many islands. Later, explore the local community and experience the culture around Lake Bunyonyi. Learn about traditional lifestyles, local crafts, farming and the history of communities in the area. You may also enjoy a gentle walk around the surrounding villages and interact with local people. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake or enjoying optional activities before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Transfer Back to Entebbe
Transfer Back to Entebbe
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Entebbe. Travel through the scenic countryside of southwestern Uganda, enjoying views of rolling hills, farms and local communities along the way. You may stop for lunch and refreshments during the journey before continuing towards Entebbe. Depending on your departure schedule, there may be an opportunity for a short stop along the way. Continue to Entebbe and arrive later in the day. Your 4-day Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi Safari ends with drop-off at Entebbe International Airport or your preferred hotel, marking the end of your Uganda adventure.
