Your photographic adventure begins with collection in Windhoek and a short drive to GocheGanas Nature Reserve.
Set among the hills south of Windhoek, the reserve provides an excellent introduction to Namibia's wildlife and landscapes. After settling in, enjoy an afternoon wildlife experience with your photographic guide, looking for giraffe, antelope, rhino and birdlife.
As the afternoon light softens, take advantage of the golden hour for environmental wildlife portraits and landscape photography.

After breakfast, depart towards the Namib Desert, travelling through changing landscapes as the central highlands gradually give way to the desert.
Arrive at Dead Valley Lodge, ideally positioned for exploring the Sossusvlei region. The afternoon is kept relaxed, allowing time to photograph the surrounding desert scenery and enjoy the changing colours and textures as the sun begins to descend.

Rise before sunrise for one of Namibia's most iconic photographic experiences. Enter the Sossusvlei area early and follow the changing light across the towering dunes.
Continue to Deadvlei, where ancient camel thorn trees stand dramatically against the white clay pan and surrounding red dunes. Spend time exploring different perspectives and compositions before continuing to Sossusvlei.
Later, visit Sesriem Canyon, photographing its sculpted rock walls, textures and changing shadows.

From Desert to Atlantic – Through Solitaire, Kuiseb & the Namib-Naukluft
After breakfast, leave Sossusvlei and journey towards Swakopmund through some of Namibia’s most dramatic desert landscapes. Stop at Solitaire, famous for its nostalgic atmosphere and vintage vehicles, before continuing through the Namib-Naukluft via the Gaub Pass and Tropic of Capricorn for memorable photographic opportunities.
Continue through the rugged Kuiseb Canyon, where ancient geological formations and contrasting desert landscapes create spectacular compositions. Further north, experience the Moon Landscape and remarkable Welwitschia plains, home to some of Namibia’s oldest desert plants.
Arrive in Swakopmund at Desert Breeze Hotel for a relaxed evening overlooking the Swakop River.

Today is dedicated to the spectacular meeting of the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean, with a full-day photographic excursion to Sandwich Harbour, one of Namibia’s most extraordinary coastal landscapes. Travel along the scenic coastline and into the Namib-Naukluft National Park, where towering golden dunes meet the crashing Atlantic waves.
Capture dramatic contrasts between sand and sea, sweeping desert vistas, birdlife and ever-changing atmospheric conditions. Along the way, enjoy opportunities to photograph flamingos and seabirds around Walvis Bay, with time to appreciate the unique beauty of this pristine environment. Return to Swakopmund in the afternoon, with time to relax or continue photographing the surrounding coastal landscapes.

Depart Swakopmund and travel north along Namibia’s dramatic Atlantic coastline, stopping at the Zeila Shipwreck, one of the Skeleton Coast’s striking maritime landmarks.
Continue to Cape Cross, home to one of Namibia’s largest Cape fur seal colonies. Spend time photographing the seals, coastal landscapes and ever-changing light before continuing inland towards the spectacular granite formations of Spitzkoppe.
Arrive at Spitzkoppe in the afternoon and explore this dramatic landscape with your photographic guide. The enormous granite boulders, natural arches, weathered rock faces and surrounding desert create exceptional opportunities for landscape photography.
Remain in the area for sunset, when the warm evening light transforms the granite formations into striking silhouettes.

After breakfast, continue north towards Etosha National Park.
Enter the park and begin your first game drive, keeping your camera ready for wildlife against the vast open plains. Depending on conditions and sightings, you may encounter zebra, giraffe, gemsbok, springbok, elephant and a variety of bird species.
Arrive at Okaukuejo Waterhole and spend the evening photographing wildlife as animals gather at the water.

Set out early to take advantage of the morning light and active wildlife.
Spend a full day exploring Etosha National Park with your private photographic guide, moving between productive waterholes and wildlife areas according to sightings and conditions.
Etosha provides excellent opportunities to photograph elephant, lion, rhino, giraffe, zebra, springbok, gemsbok and numerous bird species. The vast open landscape also allows for striking environmental wildlife portraits and minimalist compositions.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing your photographic safari and returning to Okaukuejo for another evening around the waterhole.

For serious photographers, the Mount Etjo ground-level photographic hide offers a particularly special opportunity. Situated at a waterhole, the hide allows photographers to sit quietly and capture wildlife from an intimate, low-level perspective.
The hide offers morning and afternoon sessions, making the two-night stay particularly valuable for photographers who want to work with different light and wildlife activity.
Depending on the chosen activities, the day can also include a private game drive, bird photography or additional wildlife viewing.
