Lake Manyara National Park

Pick up from Arusha city / Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park world famous for its tree climbing lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, flamingos, leopards and a magnificent bird life. The park is set out on east Africa’s stunning Rift Valley landscape and has varied habitats: ranging from acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, hot springs as well as the lake where all its animals can be found. Depending on the road conditions, you might have a chance to visit a hot water spring in Lake Manyara where the water flows through volcanic rock and comes out so hot that it burns to the touch (it is said that the water is hot enough to boil an Egg we dare you to bring one for trial). We’ll have a picnic lunch in lake Manyara and in the evening we’ll slowly exit the park and drive up the rift valley escarpment to our lodge nested in Karatu highlands for dinner, relaxation and Overnight.
