Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Victoria Falls. Travel south towards Hwange National Park, enjoying the changing landscapes along the way.

On arrival in the Hwange area, continue to Gwango Heritage Resort, where you will check in and settle into your accommodation.

Depending on the arrival time and park conditions, you may have an opportunity for an afternoon game drive or other scheduled activity.

Ull-Day Hwange National Park Game Drive

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Hwange National Park with a packed lunch.

The day is dedicated to exploring different areas of the park in search of wildlife. Hwange is particularly renowned for its large elephant population, while sightings can also include buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, antelope and numerous bird species. With luck, you may encounter predators such as lions, leopards or wild dogs.

A picnic lunch is enjoyed in the bush before continuing the game drive through the afternoon.

Return to Gwango Heritage Resort in the late afternoon or early evening.

Morning Game Drive – Victoria Falls

Start the morning with an early game drive, when cooler temperatures often provide good conditions for wildlife viewing.

Explore the park for several hours before returning to the lodge for breakfast and check-out.

After breakfast, depart Hwange and travel back to Victoria Falls. You will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location, marking the end of your safari.
