Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp. After some time to relax, enjoy your first afternoon game drive.

Explore the park’s open plains and swamps, where you may encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and numerous bird species. On a clear day, you can enjoy magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro as the sun begins to set.

Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive through Amboseli National Park. The early morning offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and spectacular photographs, particularly with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop.

Explore the park’s diverse habitats, including the dry plains and lush swamps that attract large numbers of wildlife. With luck, you may see elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many species of antelope.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your afternoon exploration. Later, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive, when wildlife is particularly active and the morning light creates excellent photography opportunities. This is also a wonderful time to admire the changing colors of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
