Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, enjoying changing landscapes and views of the Kenyan countryside. Upon arrival, enter the park and enjoy a game drive as you make your way toward your lodge or camp.

Check in and enjoy lunch before taking some time to relax. In the afternoon, head out for your first extended game drive across Amboseli’s open plains, wetlands, and acacia landscapes. The park is renowned for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants.

Upon arrival, enter Tsavo West and enjoy a game drive as you travel toward your lodge or camp. Check in and enjoy lunch before taking some time to relax.

In the afternoon, embark on an extended game drive through Tsavo West, exploring volcanic landscapes, rugged hills, lava formations, natural springs, and open plains. Search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife. If time allows, visit the remarkable Mzima Springs, known for its clear waters, hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife. Return for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo West – Voi Train Station – Diani Beach

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tsavo West. Explore the park during the cooler hours while searching for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Enjoy your final views of Tsavo’s spectacular volcanic scenery before exiting the park.

Continue by road to Voi Train Station, where you will board your scheduled First Class train to Mombasa. Enjoy lunch en route before boarding, then settle into your comfortable First Class seat and relax during the scenic journey toward Kenya’s beautiful coast.

Upon arrival in Mombasa, meet your driver and continue by road to Diani Beach. Arrive at your hotel or beach resort for a comfortable drop-off, marking the end of your 4-day Amboseli and Tsavo West safari with a seamless transition from Kenya’s wilderness to the Indian Ocean coast.
