Day 1

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we depart from our accommodation and begin our journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and rewarding wildlife destinations.

Upon arrival, we start our game drive through the park, exploring its beautiful landscapes of open grasslands, seasonal wetlands, acacia woodlands, and impressive ancient baobab trees. Tarangire is particularly renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen moving gracefully through the park or gathering around water sources.

As we explore, keep an eye out for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. With its diverse scenery and abundant wildlife, Tarangire offers a wonderful introduction to the Tanzanian safari experience.

After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing and photography, we leave the park and continue to our accommodation. Relax and enjoy dinner as you reflect on the day’s memorable encounters before settling in for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2

Manyara National Park

After breakfast, we will depart from our accommodation and begin our journey toward Lake Manyara National Park. As we leave the city behind, enjoy the changing scenery as we travel through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania.

Lake Manyara National Park is a compact but remarkably diverse wildlife area located beneath the dramatic escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The park is characterized by forests, open grasslands, wetlands, and the alkaline waters of Lake Manyara.

Upon arrival, we will begin our game drive, exploring the park in search of its diverse wildlife. Keep your camera ready for opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, antelopes, baboons, monkeys, and many species of birds.

The park is particularly beautiful because of the contrast between its lush vegetation and the surrounding Rift Valley landscape.

After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, we will continue to our accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 3

Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Experience

After breakfast, we depart for Lake Eyasi, travelling through the scenic countryside and rural landscapes of northern Tanzania.

Upon arrival, we will visit the Hadzabe community, one of Tanzania’s indigenous hunter-gatherer peoples. You will have the opportunity to learn about their traditional way of life, including hunting techniques, gathering wild foods, use of natural resources, and the knowledge passed from one generation to the next. The experience provides an opportunity to engage respectfully with the community and gain a deeper appreciation of their close relationship with the surrounding environment.
We will then meet members of the Datoga community, traditionally known for their pastoral lifestyle and skilled metalworking. You can observe traditional craftsmanship, including the making of tools and other useful objects, while learning about their customs, livelihoods, and cultural heritage.

After breakfast, we will leave our accommodation behind and begin our journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park.

The journey takes us through the spectacular landscapes of northern Tanzania, with opportunities to enjoy scenic views and wildlife sightings along the way. As we approach the Serengeti, the landscape gradually opens into vast grasslands, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable safari.

Upon entering Serengeti National Park, we will enjoy an en-route game drive, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and other wildlife.

We will continue to our accommodation in the Serengeti, where you can relax and enjoy the sounds and atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Day 5

Wake up to the sounds of the wild in the heart of the Serengeti. After breakfast, we will set out for a full day of exploring Central Serengeti.

This area is renowned for its abundant wildlife and beautiful open landscapes. During our game drives, we will search for some of Africa’s most iconic animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous other species.

The Serengeti is also part of the ecosystem where the Great Migration takes place, offering spectacular opportunities to witness wildlife moving across the endless plains, depending on the season.

For an unforgettable perspective of the wilderness, a hot-air balloon safari may also be arranged as an optional experience, allowing you to admire the Serengeti from above at sunrise.

After a full day of exploration, return to your accommodation for dinner and a peaceful evening in the wilderness.

Day 6

After breakfast, we continue our safari through Central Serengeti, one of the park’s most remarkable areas for wildlife viewing. As we drive across the vast open plains, the landscape unfolds into endless grasslands dotted with acacia trees, creating the classic Serengeti scenery.

Today’s game drive offers plenty of opportunities to observe wildlife in its natural environment. Keep watch for large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and buffaloes moving across the plains, while giraffes and elephants may be encountered in quieter areas. The region is also home to an impressive range of predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and jackals. Your safari guide will help you understand the animals’ behaviour and the fascinating relationships between predators and prey.
In the afternoon, we gradually leave the Serengeti behind and continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast, we depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Stop at the panoramic viewpoint to admire breathtaking views before descending into the crater for your final game drive.

Explore the crater’s diverse landscapes and look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinoceros. Your safari guide will help you discover the wildlife and unique ecosystem of this remarkable natural wonder.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the famous Hippo Pool, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the crater. After lunch, continue exploring before ascending and beginning the journey back to Arusha, where your safari comes to an end.
