Experience the spectacular Serengeti Great Migration on a 3-day, 2-night fly-in safari designed for travelers who want to maximize their time in the heart of Tanzania’s legendary wilderness.
Your adventure begins with a scenic flight from Arusha or another convenient safari destination directly to the Serengeti, avoiding long road transfers and giving you more time for wildlife viewing. Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and begin exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti in search of the migrating herds and the predators that follow them.
Depending on the seasonal location of the migration, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water. The Serengeti is also home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. At the evening you will be dropped at Classic view lodge for your night stay.

The Great Migration is a natural, year-round cycle, and the location of the herds changes throughout the seasons. For this reason, the exact wildlife experience depends on your travel dates. African Galago Safaris can tailor the route, accommodation and flight arrangements around the expected location of the migration.
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the location of the migration, follow the wildebeest and zebra herds as they move through the ecosystem. Your guide will also search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive until late afternoon and drop off at Classic view lodge for your night stay.

Wake up to the sounds of the Serengeti and enjoy an early morning game drive, one of the best times to experience wildlife when the animals are most active. Explore the endless plains in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife, with the possibility of encountering migrating wildebeest and zebras depending on the season and location of the herds.
After the game drive, return to the lodge or camp for breakfast before preparing for your departure. You will then be transferred to the nearest Serengeti airstrip for your scheduled flight.
From the Serengeti, fly onward to Zanzibar for a relaxing beach holiday, or Arusha if you are continuing your Tanzania adventure. As you leave the Serengeti behind, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania's spectacular landscapes.
