Your Namibian adventure begins with arrival in Windhoek, the country's compact and orderly capital city, set amid rolling hills at an elevation of over 1,600 metres. After being met and transferred, you check in to River Crossing Lodge, a comfortable mid-range property offering scenic views over the surrounding countryside. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey, unwind by the pool, and enjoy dinner as you prepare for the exciting days of game viewing that lie ahead in Etosha National Park.

Day 2
Windhoek to Etosha East

After breakfast you depart Windhoek and travel north to Etosha National Park, one of Namibia's premier wildlife destinations, renowned for its vast shimmering salt pan and abundant game concentrated around natural and man-made waterholes. On arrival in the eastern sector you check in to Mokuti Etosha Lodge, situated just outside the park's Von Lindequist Gate. In the afternoon you head out on your first guided game drive, exploring the plains and waterholes in search of elephant, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, springbok and the possibility of lion or cheetah. This marks the start of two nights and full board plus activities at this lodge.

Day 3

A full day is dedicated to exploring the eastern reaches of Etosha National Park on guided game drives. You visit numerous waterholes and viewpoints where large numbers of animals gather to drink, offering superb opportunities for sightings and photography. Etosha's open plains and pan-edge habitats support huge herds of plains game alongside predators including lion, cheetah and spotted hyena, and the park is also a stronghold for both black and white rhino. With changing light and shifting animal movements throughout the day, every game drive offers new perspectives on this celebrated wildlife area. You return to Mokuti Etosha Lodge for meals and overnight.

Day 4
Etosha East to Etosha South

This morning you continue your exploration of Etosha National Park with a scenic game drive as you transfer from the eastern to the southern sector of the park, taking in different landscapes and waterholes along the way. On arrival you check in to Etosha Safari Camp, part of the Gondwana Collection Namibia, located just outside the park's southern boundary. The camp offers comfortable accommodation with sweeping views over the surrounding Namibian bushveld. Further game viewing opportunities continue as you settle in, with the chance to spot elephant, giraffe, zebra and a variety of antelope species against the backdrop of Etosha's characteristic open terrain.

Spend a full day exploring the southern section of Etosha National Park on guided game drives, discovering yet another set of waterholes, pans and viewpoints. The southern area is known for excellent sightings of elephant, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest, and offers good chances of encountering lion and cheetah as they move across the open plains. Etosha's namesake salt pan, one of the largest in Africa, creates a striking backdrop for game viewing, particularly at sunrise and sunset. This final full day of safari activity rounds off an immersive wildlife experience before you continue your journey south the following day.
