Morning Departure from Nairobi 6:00 am to Meru National Park
Head out early to enjoy the scenic drive bypassing the rolling foothills of Mount Kenya.

Mid-Day arrival then check-in & relaxation
Arrive at your camp, unpack and enjoy a fresh lunch. Unwind for an hour or two as the midday heat dissipates.

Golden Hour for Game Drive (3:00 PM – 6:30 PM)
Set out for an afternoon drive along the marshes and riverbanks. Track elephants, buffalos, hippos, and crocodiles along the Tana and Rojewero rivers. Keep your eyes peeled for distinct northern species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and the elegant gerenuk.

Head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest under the clear African night sky.

Sunrise Game Drive (6:00 AM-10.30 AM): Set out at first light when large predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs are most active and hunting.

Spend the mid-morning inside the heavily protected, expansive Meru National Park Rhino Sanctuary. It is home to a world-class population of both black and white rhinos, giving you an excellent chance for close encounters.

History & Scenery: Pay a quick visit to the historical landscape associated with Elsa the Lioness from the famous Born Free legacy.

Late Morning Checkout return to camp for a hearty breakfast before packing up and checking out by 11:00 AM to begin your return journey.
