Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by a Bald Eagle Safaris representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.
Depending on your arrival time, spend the remainder of the day relaxing at the lodge. Your safari guide will meet you for a short briefing about the adventure ahead.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous baobab trees, large elephant herds and beautiful savannah landscapes.
Spend the day exploring the park in your private 4x4 safari vehicle. Wildlife commonly encountered includes elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and numerous antelope species, while lions and other predators may also be spotted.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodation.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, travelling through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
As you descend toward the Serengeti plains, the landscape opens into the seemingly endless grasslands for which the park is famous.
Enjoy a game drive en route through Central Serengeti, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs and the abundant plains game.
Arrive at your camp in the late afternoon and enjoy dinner surrounded by the African wilderness.

Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti.
Head out after breakfast with your private guide and spend the day following wildlife movements across the plains. Central Serengeti offers excellent year-round game viewing and is particularly well known for its big cats.
Search for lions, leopards and cheetahs while also encountering elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and many other species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to camp as the sun begins to set across the Serengeti.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

After an early breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and enjoy a final game drive as you make your way toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend approximately 600 metres to the crater floor for an exciting afternoon game drive.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Tanzania's most rewarding wildlife destinations, supporting an exceptional concentration of animals within its grasslands, forests and wetlands. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and numerous antelope species. With some luck, you may also encounter the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day's safari and continue exploring the crater before ascending in the late afternoon.
After the game drive, continue to Karatu and check in at your lodge for a well-deserved dinner and relaxing final night of your safari.

Karatu - Arusha/Airport Transfer

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin the journey back to Arusha.
Today's departure time will be arranged according to your onward flight schedule. For guests with a later flight, the morning can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace before travelling to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
For guests departing around midday, an early breakfast and departure from Karatu will be arranged to allow sufficient time for the airport transfer and check-in formalities.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred directly to Arusha Airport, Kilimanjaro International Airport or your onward hotel.

This marks the end of your 6-day Tanzania safari, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
