Arrival and Sunset Game Drive in Manyeleti

Guests are met at Nelspruit or Nelspruit Airport (MQP) for a private transfer of around three and a half to four hours into Manyeleti Game Reserve, the unfenced northern extension of the world-famous Sabi Sands that borders both Timbavati Private Nature Reserve and Kruger National Park. On arrival at Ndzhaka Tented Camp, guests enjoy a late lunch, check in and relax beside the camp's waterhole, watching elephants and nyalas wander by. In the late afternoon a sunset game drive sets out across Manyeleti's 23,000 hectares of pristine wilderness, continuing into a night drive with spotlights to search for nocturnal predators and other wildlife. The evening is rounded off with a signature bush boma dinner served under the stars.

Full Day of Game Drives in Manyeleti

The day begins early with a sunrise game drive through Manyeleti, home to the same Big 5 wildlife, leopards and lion prides found in neighbouring Sabi Sands, but without the crowds of other vehicles. After the drive, guests enjoy a bush breakfast before relaxing around camp, making the most of the waterhole deck and watching for passing wildlife. Lunch is served at the lodge in the early afternoon, followed by a sunset game drive that again continues into a night drive with spotlights, offering excellent chances to see nocturnal species such as leopard, hyena and owls. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Full Day of Game Drives in Manyeleti

Another full day of exclusive game viewing in Manyeleti begins with an early morning sunrise drive, taking advantage of the reserve's full traversing rights over 23,000 hectares of unfenced wilderness bordering Kruger National Park. Following breakfast, guests have free time to relax at camp, enjoying the waterhole deck and tranquil riverine forest surroundings. Lunch is served at the lodge, before an afternoon sunset drive that rolls into a spotlit night drive in search of nocturnal wildlife. The evening ends with dinner back at camp, overlooking the waterhole where elephants and nyalas often come to drink after dark.

Afterwards a bush breakfast is enjoyed before guests depart camp for their private transfer back to Nelspruit or Nelspruit Airport (MQP), bringing this intimate and immersive safari experience to a close.
