Your safari begins as soon as you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our friendly representative will meet you at the airport, assist with your luggage.

You will then enjoy a comfortable private transfer to Arusha. The journey gives you your first glimpse of Tanzania as you travel through the countryside toward your accommodation.

Once you arrive at the lodge, check in and take some time to settle in after your flight. Families can relax in the beautiful surroundings, enjoy the gardens, or simply take a well-deserved rest.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari adventure officially begins. Meet your safari guide and depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most scenic and wildlife-rich parks.

The drive to the park takes you through changing landscapes and local villages before you reach the park entrance. Once inside, the pace becomes relaxed and flexible, allowing the whole family to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

Tarangire is especially famous for its enormous elephant herds and impressive baobab trees. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, making it an excellent place to look for animals.

During your game drive, keep watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impala, warthogs and many different bird species. Lions are also regularly seen, and your experienced guide will help you understand the behavior of the animals and identify tracks, birds and other interesting details.

After breakfast, enjoy a change of pace with a cultural experience in Mto wa Mbu, a lively town located near the entrance to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Rather than spending another full day in the safari vehicle, today gives the family an opportunity to experience Tanzania beyond wildlife.

With a local guide, explore the community and learn about everyday life in the area. Depending on your family's interests, your experience may include a visit to the local market, traditional homes, small farms, banana plantations, local food producers and artisan workshops.

Mto wa Mbu is known for its cultural diversity, with people from many different communities living and working together. Your guide will introduce you to local traditions, food, farming and crafts while giving you an authentic insight into village life.

Children often enjoy seeing how local families live, visiting farms and meeting artists and craftspeople.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before setting out for one of the highlights of your Tanzania safari. Drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying the changing scenery as you approach the crater highlands.

At the crater rim, take in the breathtaking views before descending into the crater. The vast caldera is home to grasslands, woodlands, lakes and an incredible concentration of wildlife.

During your game drive, look out for wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, elephants, hippos, hyenas and lions. With luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino.

Your experienced guide will choose the best areas for wildlife viewing while keeping a relaxed pace for the family. There will be plenty of time to stop, observe the animals and enjoy the scenery. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during the day before continuing your exploration of this remarkable natural wonder.

Enjoy a relaxed final breakfast at your accommodation.

Depending on your departure time, you can spend the morning relaxing at the lodge or enjoy some quiet family time before your transfer.

At the agreed time, your safari driver will collect you and drive you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.

As your Tanzania family adventure comes to an end, we say asante sana and kwaheri -thank you and goodbye.
