Day Tour To Mt Kenya - Naro Moru Route
6:00am pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence and drive southeast to Naro Moru town, 4 hrs drive with at least one stop on the way for washroom break. We drive toward to Naro Moru gate at 11 am, 18km from Naro Moru town, sign in at Naro Moru gate, 2400m, and drive further to met station at 11:30 am, 3095m. Start our hike, 3 hrs hike up to 3800m until 2:30 pm, lunch. Naro Moru Route is the most popular of all the routes that lead up to Mount Kenya. It is the steepest and the fastest way up Mt Kenya and ascends the mountain from the west. The route is particularly scenic but has some of the best views of Batian 5199 m and Nelion 5099m up the mountain. After hike, descent down to met station arriving at met station at 3pm and connect transfer back to hotel.
