Andasibe Village

After breakfast, depart Antananarivo and drive east along the RN2 towards Andasibe, passing through traditional villages and the green landscapes of the eastern highlands. En route, stop at Peyrieras Reserve, where you can observe several species of chameleons, frogs, reptiles and other endemic wildlife. Continue to Andasibe, settle into your lodge and, in the evening, enjoy a night walk around the forest to search for nocturnal lemurs, frogs, chameleons, insects and other wildlife. Analamazaotra Reserve - Vakona Private Reserve

After breakfast, explore Analamazaotra National Park with an official local guide. The morning walk takes you through the rainforest in search of the famous indri, Madagascar's largest lemur, as well as other lemurs, birds, reptiles, frogs and endemic plants. In the afternoon, continue to Vakona Private Reserve, where you can explore its forested surroundings and observe several species of lemurs before returning to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Andasibe to Antsirabe

After breakfast, leave Andasibe and travel back towards Antananarivo before continuing south along the RN7 to Antsirabe. Enjoy the changing scenery as you cross the central highlands, with rice fields, rolling hills and traditional villages along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and get some rest after the long drive.

Antsirabe - Ambositra - Ranomafana

After breakfast, continue south along the RN7 towards Ambositra, renowned for its traditional woodcarving and marquetry. Take some time to visit local artisan workshops before continuing towards Ranomafana, gradually entering the lush rainforest region. In the evening, take part in a night walk around Ranomafana to search for nocturnal wildlife, including mouse lemurs, chameleons, frogs, insects and other endemic species.

Ranomafana National Park - Fianarantsoa

Start the day with a morning visit to Ranomafana National Park, accompanied by an official local guide. Ambatomilo - Beach Time

Enjoy a full day discovering the coastal environment of Ambatomilo. Take a boat excursion to explore the clear waters and enjoy snorkelling, with opportunities to observe colourful fish and marine life. Continue with a visit to a traditional Vezo fishing community, where you can discover the local way of life and learn more about traditional fishing practices along the southwest coast. During the excursion, there may also be a chance to spot humpback whales, particularly in August, although sightings cannot be guaranteed. Antananarivo City Tour

After breakfast, discover the main highlights of Antananarivo on a guided city tour. Visit the historic Upper Town, including the Queen's Palace and Andafiavaratra Palace, before continuing towards the lower part of the city. Explore Avenue de l'Indépendance and visit a local market to experience the atmosphere of everyday life in the capital. In the afternoon, visit a local craft market, where you can discover Malagasy handicrafts, woodwork, textiles, jewellery and other traditional products, with time to purchase souvenirs and locally made gifts.
