Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests are personally welcomed by a Lambwe Untamed Safaris representative. Assistance with luggage is provided before a comfortable private transfer to a carefully selected Nairobi hotel.
There is no safari driving scheduled on arrival day. The priority is to allow guests to recover from their international flight, adjust to the time difference and relax. Our team confirms any individual requirements, including dietary preferences, mobility considerations, medications that may need appropriate storage, preferred walking distances and other comfort needs. Guests enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure and prepare for their Masai Mara journey the following morning.

Nairobi to Masai Mara- Scenic Journey at Your Own Pace

After a relaxed breakfast, meet your private safari driver-guide and depart for the Masai Mara. Unlike a conventional safari transfer focused simply on reaching the destination as quickly as possible, this journey is deliberately paced.
The driver makes planned comfort stops for washrooms, refreshments and gentle stretching, with additional stops available whenever required.
Arrive at Zebra Valley Mara Camp, where the team assists guests with check-in and luggage. Accessible or conveniently located rooms can be requested according to the guest's individual mobility needs and confirmed subject to the property's availability and specifications.
After lunch and sufficient rest, guests who feel comfortable can enjoy a short, gentle afternoon game drive. Those who would rather relax may remain at camp, enjoy the swimming pool and the bar, and begin their wildlife experience the following morning.

Masai Mara- Gentle Wildlife Exploration

After breakfast, begin a relaxed exploration of the Masai Mara. Instead of spending an exhausting full day continuously inside the safari vehicle, the day's activities can be divided into shorter morning and afternoon game drives.
The morning drive offers opportunities to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, lions and other wildlife while enjoying the cooler hours of the day.
Return to Zebra Valley Mara Camp for lunch and a proper midday break. Guests have time to rest in their rooms or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Later, take an optional afternoon game drive when temperatures are cooler. Because the experience is private, the guide can adapt the duration to the guests' energy and comfort levels.

Today provides another unhurried opportunity to experience the Mara without pressure.
Following breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning game drive. The advantage of staying several nights in one destination is that guests don't need to rush from one park to another simply to tick destinations off a list. Go for optional full-day safari exploration with bush picnic lunch or return to camp for lunch and relaxation. The afternoon can then be personalized according to the guests' preferences and energy levels. They may choose another gentle game drive or simply spend the afternoon relaxing at camp and appreciating the wilderness. In the evening, get a golden chance to visit the Maasai Village and experience this amazing culture.
For guests celebrating an anniversary, retirement, birthday or other milestone, bespoke arrangements can also be discussed with the reservation team in advance.

Golden Day of Leisure- Bush Breakfast, Wellness & African Sundowner

The entire day is devoted to relaxation and enjoying the surroundings of Zebra Valley Mara Camp.
Begin the morning with a special bush breakfast, enjoying breakfast in the peaceful African wilderness.
Return to camp and spend the rest of the morning at leisure. Guests can relax beside the swimming pool, read, enjoy the scenery or simply appreciate having nowhere they need to be.
The afternoon is reserved for a relaxing massage and spa/wellness experience, subject to the services available and confirmed arrangements at the camp. This can be scheduled individually so guests can enjoy the experience without being rushed.
As the day cools, conclude the Golden Day with a memorable sundowner experience, raising a glass while watching the African sun disappear across the Mara landscape.
This is deliberately the slowest day of the itinerary—a chance to appreciate that a safari doesn't always have to mean spending every available hour searching for wildlife.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, guests are privately transferred to JKIA for their international departure or to their Nairobi hotel, depending on their onward travel arrangements. Assistance with luggage is provided, bringing the journey to a comfortable conclusion.
