After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Known for its impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, Tarangire provides an excellent introduction to Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit.
Explore the park's savannahs, woodlands, and riverine areas while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

After an early breakfast, depart from Karatu and travel toward Ndutu in the southern Serengeti, the heart of the seasonal calving grounds. During the calving season, the open plains become a spectacular wildlife nursery, attracting large numbers of wildebeest and zebra as well as predators.
